The data that the Client must provide to use the XCOOP´s Services include, but not limited to, the following: name, identity document, email address, cell phone, address, Internet Protocol (IP) address, biometric data such as your image and any other data that is believed necessary to generate the commercial relationship. In this case, the data provided by the Client must be complete and deffinite, must be updated and must understand that when providing information to XCOOP it is a sworn statement.

To operate with the XCOOP´s Service, the Client must also provide information that is needed so that the transfer of funds can be carried out and comply with the legal obligations related to this type of operation. If you don´t provide certain personal information, our ability to provide our Services to you may be affected. This information may include data about the form of identification used to send or receive a transaction, including the identity document or a copy of the national ID, transaction activity, bank account and payment information.

2. Information Channels

XCOOP collects Customer information through:

- Customer registration forms.

- On-line forms that allow to operate.

- Customer service, advice, by any of the means that XCOOP has enabled.

- Automated means such as communication protocols, email communications and cookies or similar INTERNET TECHNOLOGIES.

- Social networks or public information sources.

In addition to the above means, we may also collect and verify it through authorized service providers, business partners, identity verification companies, fraud and payment risk management companies, law enforcement agencies, and commercial and public information sources.

XCOOP may decide to terminate or refuse to enter into a business relationship with a Customer when it verifies the falsity and/or inaccuracy of the data provided by the Customer.

3. Why we collect Information?

XCOOP uses the information provided to:

- That the Customer can use the Service.

- Process the operations made by the Clients, charge the use of the Service, solve problems that are generated in the operations.

- Provide a personalized experience, by means of the complete understanding of the Client, that allows to carry out the operations in an efficient way.

- Send, from time to time, automatic notifications through our mobile application in relation to promotional campaigns or notifications related to the Service.

- Comply with XCOOP's KYC Policy.

- Prevent illicit activities such as money laundering, terrorist financing, tax evasion and lower the risk of fraud.

4. How we share Information with Third Parties

For the purposes of fulfilling XCOOP's Services and the purposes informed in this Policy, Clients' personal data may be disclosed and/or shared with affiliates, direct and indirect controllers, subsidiaries or related companies, and/or with third parties with which XCOOP has a contractual relationship, such as service providers, insurance or payment management intermediary companies, among others. Likewise, Clients' personal data may be disclosed or transmitted to third parties under the following circumstances: (i) when there is a legal obligation to do so; (ii) under the exceptions provided for in the laws in force or a legitimate interest of XCOOP; and (iii) following an order issued by a competent administrative or judicial authority.

The Personal Information may be hosted on servers of third parties or branches, subsidiaries, affiliates belonging to XCOOP. These servers may be located in other countries in which Customers operate, if this is the case, XCOOP is committed to have an agreement with the owner of the server in order to reach the appropriate levels of protection under the relevant legislation, expressly consenting the Customer the international transfer and hosting of their data in such jurisdictions.

XCOOP uses industry-accepted standards to protect the information you provide to us. We implement SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology to protect your confidential information transmitted through our website. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, XCOOP cannot guarantee the absolute security of the information, at Customer's own risk.

We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the privacy practices of those other sites before participating in them or providing them with your Personal Information.

7. Changes to this policy

Like holder of your Personal Information, you have the faculty to exercise the rights of access, rectification, update and suppression of your Personal Information according to the Law of Protection of Personal Information. You may also request the blocking of your name from our database for advertising purposes.
